  1. Professional Draw Clips of the CDTV logo and symbols are in
  2. this directory.  They can be used in any Amiga DTP program which
  3. supports Professional Draw clip format (Professional Page,
  4. PageStream, etc).  The clips are broken into eight files:
  5.  
  6.      A&L.clips - Art & Leisure symbols
  7.       ED.clips - Education symbols
  8.      ENT.clips - Entertainment symbols
  9.     Logo.clips - CDTV logos
  10.      MUS.clips - Music symbols
  11.      PER.clips - Periodical symbols
  12.      PRO.clips - Productivity symbols
  13.      REF.clips - Reference symbols
  14.  
  15. Each symbol file contains five different pica sized clips.
  16. For example A&L.clips contains:
  17.  
  18.          A&L_1 - for use on Inlay Card
  19.        A&L_1.5 - for use on Caddy Sleeve (front/back panels)
  20.          A&L_2 - for use on Cover Insert/Caddy Sleeve (side
  21.                  panel)
  22.          A&L_4 - for use on Long Box/Window Long Box
  23.         A&L_10 - large symbol provided for you to custom scale
  24.  
  25. In addition each size is in three different color schemes.
  26. For example A&L_1 is broken into:

  28.          A&L_1 - black symbol on white
  29.         A&L_1B - reversed white symbol on black
  30.         A&L_1C - reversed white* symbol on its Pantone bar
  31.                  color

  33.         * except for the education symbol which is in black

  35. The Logo.clips file contains four different sized clips:

  37.   CDTVlogo_3.5 - for use on Caddy Sleeve/Cover Insert
  38.                  /Inlay Card
  39.   CDTVlogo_5.5 - for use Disk Graphics
  40.     CDTVlogo_7 - for use on Disk Caddy/Long Box
  41.                  /Window Long Box/Promotional Items
  42.    CDTVlogo_30 - Large logo provided for you to custom
  43.                  scale

  45. Also note that each logo size has ONLY two different color
  46. schemes. A black logo on white and reversed.  THE LOGO MUST
  47. ALWAYS APPEAR IN EITHER BLACK INK, OR AS A WHITE REVERSE
  48. IMAGE.

  50. REMINDER: after importing a clip into Professional Page,
  51. Alter the active box so that the X/Y scale is set to 1.000.

  53. WARNING: all clips may not import properly into PageStream.
  54. It is best to compare postscript output to the reproduction
  55. proofs regardless of the DTP package you're using.
