  6. An unidentified flying object overtook a British Airways passenger jet at high
  7. speed as it made its final approach to Manchester Airport, an official report
  8. disclosed last night. The close encounter between the Boeing 737 and the
  9. wedge-shaped craft happened at about 4,000ft as the BA flight returned from
  10. Milan with 60 passengers. The UFO described as having a black stripe down its
  11. side and a 'Christmas tree' arrangement of lights, flashed passed the jet with
  12. no sound and no wake. Investigators remain baffled more than a year after the
  13. incident which happened on January 6 last year and was reported by both pilots
  14. of the Boeing.
