Toward 2012
The Rest of the Stories

    As you know, COA covers Sheldon Nidle's infor-
mation extensively and for one main reason.  He's put his
neck out and given us a specific timeline to go by.  Cer-
tainly, he has been wrong about a few things and yes,
some of the excuses are lame, but compared to the rheto-
ric we get from most other prophets of the future, he gives
us a clearer picture.  He's been wrong about a few details
along the way.  Most notable is his prediction that some-
thing "big" would be happening in Mexico last June, and
that lots of money would be available to lightworkers by
April-May.  However, last year he said that due to changes
in the energy that the weather would be extreme and un-
usual, that we'd be hearing more and more about sightings
of Angels, UFOs, etc.  Nidle has 3 main, verifiable,
prophesies that we must wait and see about.  One, arrival
of the photon belt no later than Dec. '96 (it was in his first
book), mass landings of UFO's six months prior to the
photon belt (has slipped some, now predicts that by Fall of
'96) and dramatic changes in our DNA by the end Summer
'96.  It looks as though we won't have to wait much longer
to validate the reliability of Nidle's information.
    As for the other prophets out there, one is not able
to evaluate so conclusively.  So much of what we hear
from Barbara Marciniak (talks to Pleaidian Plus group),
Barbara Hand Clow, (Pleaidians), Ashtar Command and
others that relate mainly to Pleaidians, is spiritual or his-
torical with only a little insight into what the future holds.
What has been said by these and other authors is very
much the same stuff as Nidle, as far as events are con-
cerned, however, they are unable or willing to give anything
but broad timeline assumptions, such as, "soon, after the
year 2000, within the next many years".  I, too, will give you
such a prediction.......
    "Many changes are soon to take place that will as-
tonish all humanity.  As the spiritual energy builds, the next
many years will bring us into a glorious future that is uni-
maginable and will extend for some time beyond the year
2000.  More precisely, after the year 2012, humanity is
destined for the stars, following the "great changes". That
is, providing things don't change."  Well gee, no kidding!
    I know I'm not telling you anything new.  Few if
any, channels have given information that can be validated
or is of much use.  They are all saying great changes will
be happening but avoid any information that will in anyway
motivate one to take action, yet they all seem to want us to
take action.  These beings are alien indeed if they can't
figure out what should be done to get this thing going!
However, there are general themes that are consistent and
at least may inspire one to pay attention and wait for a time
to "make your move".
    The latest from the Pleaidians, and who knows
which group this is from, is that there will be a landings in
England, first.  They've been saying this for some time, but
they will not even give a clue as to when that might be.
They pointed out that this has been the case for over a
year, and things looked very promising several months
ago, but not very likely, soon, since there has been a
breakdown of the Ireland/English war cease fire, and the
nut that killed all those kids.  They claim that there is no
way we are ready to make contact with such negative
things going on there.  All I can say, is that they are unlikely
to make any move in the next 100 years if they are waiting
for world peace, and that seems to be their agenda.
Frankly, I think Pleaidians are a bunch of wimps.  They are
so afraid to "upset the consciousness" of the world that
they'll never take action before the photon-belt arrives,
that's for sure!  They claim that we still have a lot of work
we must do first.  They do point out, that when ET s arrive,
it will change, forever, the entire state of affairs on this
planet.  They are right about that, I think they are dead
wrong about our ability to handle it psychologically.  They
must be a race that is easily upset and thinks us the same.
    The most prevalent admonition from ET s all the
way up to Angels is that we have serious problems with the
leadership of this world, and a huge shake-up must occur
so that governments can be replaced, etc. etc.  To some,
this is exactly what an enemy would want us to do....... that
is, destroy our own governments.  However, before you
perceive the attack on our world governments as hostile,
consider the reality.  Is there any doubt that world-wide,
government leaders and politicians are manipulating peo-
ple and events in the interest of controlling populations,
economics, and ecology for their own selfish purposes?
There is incredible corruption, self-serving agendas, and
out and out evil, at work within the institutions of all gov-
ernments.  Could it be that the world governments have
been infiltrated by evil extraterrestrials?  Does it matter if
that is true, as long as it seems to be working out as if it
were true?  Who would you rather have in charge of the
world, extraterrestrials or the CIA?  If we want other
choices, then we must begin to find ways of living our day
to day lives without the benefit of government control.  This
means getting yourself as free as you can, getting off wel-
fare, avoiding taxation where sensible, changing your life-
style so that you are not as dependent.  Do the best you
can.  The next step is to support useful lightwork in any
form you find appropriate.  Support it in the form of mone-
tary gifts, purchasing products, going to meetings, and or-
ganizing group events.  Finally, we must protest our
choices of leaders, and where practical, promote better
leaders by getting involved in politics......... at least vote.  I
thought our choices in the last election were poor.  This
time I'd say, "Appalling!"  For those of you that love Clinton
and liberal politics, I'm sorry, but Clinton and that party
wants nothing more than power, control, and the depend-
ence of the general public.  I believe they lie, cheat and
whatever to get those ends.  I don't trust them, they've not
shown me ......s_ _ t!  And for those of you that love Dole
and the right-wing conservatives, I say much the same
thing.  They will all say anything you want to hear.  They all
do public poles to find out what they believe today.  I be-
lieve there maybe sincerity with Dole, but it won't matter,
because he won't control the maniacs he has to work for,
and he won't take the chance to work for you and me.  Cor-
ruption is rampant and it has to go!
    The other common theme is that humanity must
become more spiritual.  For most of us this means a com-
plete change of lifestyle.  We all have our usual daily rou-
tines that take up all the hours in a day, and few of us
spend our free time in spiritual quests.  From my observa-
tions, most people do a few spiritually oriented things once
or twice a month at best.  Even those lightworkers that are
"in the business", such as seminar leaders, psychics, chiro-
practors, or writers, I suspect have typical routines that
leave little room for personal spiritual growth, such as
meditation, rituals, and gatherings for spiritual purpose.  I
know this is the case for me, what with a regular 40 hour
week job, and the newsletter.  Barbara and I do manage to
have a weekly meditation group at our house and this is
very beneficial.  However, what the "message" is, is to be-
gin to have a spiritual mind-set in all that you do, and de-
velop self-improvement routines, the results of which spill
over into your daily life, and make you an example for
those you have contact with.  If you had a list of world-wide
lightworkers, and you just called a new one once a week to
say "hello", I think you would be surprised at how much in-
teraction you could find yourself involved in.  Read a new
spiritual book every month, and go to at least one spiritual
meeting per month, and you will have plenty to talk about,
and important stuff to do.
    In conclusion, Sheldon Nidle says that life as we
know it will start changing dramatically before the end of
Summer, Barbara Hand Clow points to 1998 as a time ex-
traordinary events will begin, Scallion thinks everything will
sink before 2000, Barbara Marciniak thinks 2012 is signifi-
cant, the Andromedans say we might have a Galactic war
on our hands before 2000, and the Christians think the
Apocalypse is at hand.  I say, there isn't much to do about
any of that except on a very personal basis, depending on
who you are.  The best situation I can think of, is to be
completely self-sustaining in a cave somewhere, with
plenty of videos, and a work at home job that makes you
lots of money until the time comes.  Short of that, we must
do the best we can with what we have.
