  40. BTW, I have not characterized ETs as "nice". That is your interpretation 
  41. of ETADO's position. I might call them "insensitive",
  42. "inconsiderate", and "unfeeling". But even these characterizations are 
  43. entirely bound up in my (our) cultural preconceptions. I stand by
  44. the view that they are people entitled to consideration. Yes, it is 
  45. one-sided, without apology. The opposing view is ubiquitous. The
  46. assumption that, because they cause real physical and emotional pain to 
  47. abductees, therefore they are evil invaders, is faulty logic and arises 
  48. from paranoid egocentrism... which is also cultural. Humans are 
  49. "insensitive", "inconsiderate", and "unfeeling" toward the other species 
  50. that share this planet with us. Is it because we're all evil? No, we are 
  51. ignorant. Same with ETs.
