- of ETADO's position. I might call them "insensitive",
- "inconsiderate", and "unfeeling". But even these characterizations are
- entirely bound up in my (our) cultural preconceptions. I stand by
- the view that they are people entitled to consideration. Yes, it is
- one-sided, without apology. The opposing view is ubiquitous. The
- assumption that, because they cause real physical and emotional pain to
- abductees, therefore they are evil invaders, is faulty logic and arises
- from paranoid egocentrism... which is also cultural. Humans are
- "insensitive", "inconsiderate", and "unfeeling" toward the other species
- that share this planet with us. Is it because we're all evil? No, we are
- ignorant. Same with ETs.
