During the mid-sixties, I recollect seeing a pin point of light moving west to east on a bright summers day here in Nottingham England.
It was the erratic movement of the light which first caught my eye. As I watched the light; I could hear a distant roar of aircraft engines. To the north two formation Electric Lightning jets roared into the heavens more or less from a vertical take-off.
Although I live fairly near to Hucknall Aerodrome; I had never seen a take-off in this fashion before. The jets encircled the distant dot of light as it slowly diminished. The jets then returned back in the direction where they had come from.
This was even more exiting than watching the pin-point of light ! So don't tell me that the government are not aware of U.F.Os. To add more credit to this, my colleague at university is an aircraft engineer. He told me that whilst he was stationed in Cyprus; a U.F.O. about the size of a large automobile hovered above the base for about five minutes or more as pilots scrambled to their aircrafts to intervene. The U.F.O. then accelerated away. When I asked him if HE had actually seen it; he replied embarrassingly that it was not only him but the whole base.
