  37. To give the SaucerHeads their due here, whatever craft the Betelgeusians might 
  38. use for excursions around a planet are not necessarily the same ones they'd 
  39. use for interstellar travel. Small launches from a larger main ship, perhaps, 
  40. with an energy supply scaled to the purpose (which, to get to/from orbit, is 
  41. still nothing to sneeze at).
