-
- Dark Skies is a 1960s-era x-filesesque one-hour drama which layers the
- "folklore" surrounding the UFO enigma with imagined plot elements
- involving two reporters, of course male and female, who uncover a
- conspiracy involving UFOs, aliens and the JFK assassination. As is the
- case with the upcoming movies "Men in Black" and "Independence Day,"
- this series is the result of writers, producers and executives using
- the factual material surrounding UFOs as a creative jumping point to
- tell their own fictional story.
-
- In other words, Sasquatch is just as likely to pop up in this show as
- is a Jesse Marcel-type character. I wouldn't be surprised if the whole
- damned aviary rears its dusty head and makes an appearance.
