  18. Dark Skies is a 1960s-era x-filesesque one-hour drama which layers the
  19. "folklore" surrounding the UFO enigma with imagined plot elements
  20. involving two reporters, of course male and female, who uncover a
  21. conspiracy involving UFOs, aliens and the JFK assassination.  As is the
  22. case with the upcoming movies "Men in Black" and "Independence Day,"
  23. this series is the result of writers, producers and executives using
  24. the factual material surrounding UFOs as a creative jumping point to
  25. tell their own fictional story.

  27. In other words, Sasquatch is just as likely to pop up in this show as
  28. is a Jesse Marcel-type character.  I wouldn't be surprised if the whole
  29. damned aviary rears its dusty head and makes an appearance.
