  38. The content of a post is irrelevent when it comes to cc'ing the
  39. poster.  CC'ing is done in ALL newsgroups, period.

  41. Some would say that they can't tell whether the e-mail is a true
  42. private e-mail or whether it is a cc to a post.  I would suggest that,
  43. for those who take the time to carfully read what they get before they
  44. fly off the handle, it is easy to determine whether the e-mail is
  45. private or a cc.

  47.  All you have to do is READ the first line of the body of the article
  48. in question.

  50. 1)   If  it says "YOU" wrote/said/whatever (second person), then it is
  51. most likely a private e-mail.

  53. 2)  If it says "Dean Adams" wrote/said/whatever (third person), then
  54. it is a cc of a reply to post.
