- The name of Steven Spielberg got dragged into this saga BECAUSE of the
- involvement of Volker Spielberg, Ray Santilli's financial backer and the person
- who now owns the controlling interest in the films, Steven Speilberg responded
- early on that he had no connection with the Santilli film.
