- recollect a meeting in February at Gosford (45 minutes north of
- Sydney)where the attendees were by invitation only. These were people
- who had witnessed some event of "high strangeness" typically described as
- a UFO (some type of craft other than normally seen).
- Over 220 people attended for an update. No media were able to attend. I
- was surprised at the attendance.
- Essentially, a saucer shaped object was seen hovering over The Broadwater
- early one morning in late December. It was seen from a local Yachting
- Club by 40+ people. The police were called to investigate whereupon the
- object (after being illuminated by the headlights of the police car) shot
- in a vertical direction out of sight. The object was approximately
- 30metres in diameter and was approximately 20-40 feet off the surface of
- the water prior to shooting off.
- The object returned at various other locations and the police were again
- called out to investigate. This went on for 7 hours and into the
- morning.
- Another object was reported at Terrigal (about 10 minutes drive from
- Gosford) described as about the same size as a sedan motor car. This was
- seen hovering over the beach area about Terrigal and the witnesses felt
- "threatened" by it and left hastily.
- We have our fair share of UFO flaps. Have a look at
- http://www.ufor.asn.au/ for some other stuff from Australia.
- Bye,
- H. Mulgrew.
