  40. recollect a meeting in February at Gosford (45 minutes north of 
  41. Sydney)where the attendees were by invitation only.  These were people 
  42. who had witnessed some event of "high strangeness" typically described as 
  43.  a UFO (some type of craft other than normally seen).
  44. Over 220 people attended for an update.  No media were able to attend. I 
  45. was surprised at the attendance.
  46. Essentially, a saucer shaped object was seen hovering over The Broadwater 
  47. early one morning in late December.  It was seen from a local Yachting 
  48. Club by 40+ people.  The police were called to investigate whereupon the 
  49. object (after being illuminated by the headlights of the police car) shot 
  50. in a vertical direction out of sight.  The object was approximately 
  51. 30metres in diameter and was approximately 20-40 feet off the surface of 
  52. the water prior to shooting off.
  53. The object returned at various other locations and the police were again 
  54. called out to investigate.  This went on for 7 hours and into the 
  55. morning.
  56. Another object was reported at Terrigal (about 10 minutes drive from 
  57. Gosford) described as about the same size as a sedan motor car.  This was 
  58. seen hovering over the beach area about Terrigal and the witnesses felt 
  59. "threatened" by it and left hastily.
