  29. This would only be the case if:
  30.  
  31.   1/ The universe has existed forever, giving the light from
  32.      infinitely far stars enough time to get here, and..
  33.  
  34.   2/ Hubble expansion is not linear.  If Hubble expansion is
  35.      linear, then if you go far enough, you'll find everything
  36.      moving away from us at rates much greater than C.
  37.      Which would mean nearly all of the universe was in fact
  38.      entirely outside our light-sphere, and invisible to us.

  40. Now personally, I think the universe does contain infinite
  41. energy in infinite space, because it just seems like the
  42. least hypothesis to me.  OTOH, surely it would take us an
  43. infinite amount of time to gather it all up, and in using
  44. it we would erase the whole universe?

  47. get a spaceship to hit lightspeed..  :>
