Hello! Welcome to the Ricoh Recordable/ReWritable Interactive CD-ROM.
We recommend that you shut down all other open applications before launching.
To install, copy the folder "COPYTOHD" to your hard drive, but keep the CD-ROM
in your CD-ROM drive.
To run, click on the application in your hard drive's "COPYTOHD" that best
suits your platform: RICOH16.EXE for Windows 3.1, RICOH32.EXE for Windows95.
To use the "Club Ricoh" weblink feature, you'll need a browser
(Netscape Navigator or Microsoft Internet Explorer)and the capability
of World Wide Web access. Among other things, this means you'll need a
modem, the appropriate communications software, and an Internet connection.
If you cannot normally access a Web page with your current configuration,
this disc will not be able to connect.
Here's what you'll need to run this disc:
In a Windows 3.1 or 95 environment, you'll need:
A 486 or greater processor
8 megabytes of available RAM (not total system RAM)
A video card and monitor capable of 256 colors (8 bit)
Sufficient space on your hard drive to store the contents of the
"COPYTOHD" folder. IMPORTANT: You must copy the "COPYTOHD" folder
(and its complete contents) to your hard drive before launching
the application.
QuickTime for Windows installed on your hard drive(you'll find an
installer in the folder "QTW212" on this disc).
A 2X (or faster) CD-ROM Drive
A properly configured soundcard in order to hear the audio content.
The disc will probably function without a soundcard, but will not be audible.
In a Macintosh environment, you'll need:
System 7.0 or greater
8 megabytes of available RAM (not total system RAM)
A color monitor set to 256 colors (8 bit)
QuickTime installed on your hard drive(QuickTime 2.5 is included on
this disc in the "Copy to your Hard Drive"folder; click and follow
instructions to install, then reboot.)
SoundManager installed on your Hard Drive (version 3.2.1 is included
on this disc in the "Copy to your Hard Drive" folder)
A 2X (or faster) CD-Rom Drive
