  1.         USERS OF SUNOS 4.1.x PLEASE NOTE: The standard OpenWindows
  2.         server shipped by Sun contains a bug that can cause it to
  3.         hang when IDL (and other Motif) programs display pulldown
  4.         menus. This IDL distribution contains a patched XNeWS server
  5.         that solves the problem. Read the online release notes for
  6.     details. Display the online help by entering ? at the IDL 
  7.     prompt, then click the hypertext link "Notes for Unix and
  8.     VMS". Click the hypertext link "Serious OpenWindows Bug in
  9.     SunOS 4.1.3 and 4.1.4" in the list of notes that appears.

  14. file sunos4.txt in the help/motd subdirectory of the IDL distribution.
