  3.                         SELF-EXTRACTING INSTALLATION

  5. DO NOT RUN THIS INSTALLATION FROM A FLOPPY DISK!  
  6. It is a "compressed" format of the entire program, which would not otherwise 
  7. fit on a 360K diskette.  You should first make a directory on your hard disk 
  8. called "SAS" and copy this file to it.  
  9. With this disk in drive A: and your computer logged to the hard disk, 
  10. follow the instructions listed below to complete the installation:

  12.   INSTRUCTIONS:                         TYPE:                    PRESS:
  13.   ------------------------------        ------------------       ------- 
  14.   Log to your hard disk:                C:                       [ENTER]
  15.   Change to the "ROOT" directory:       CD\                      [ENTER]
  16.   Make the needed subdirectory:         MD\SAS                   [ENTER]
  17.   Change to that subdirectory:          CD\SAS                   [ENTER]
  18.   Copy the installation file:           COPY A:SAS50.EXE         [ENTER]
  19.   Run the SAS50.EXE program:            SAS50                    [ENTER]
  20.  
  21. If you have finished the above steps, answer "Y" to the prompt below and 
  22. The installation program will create the needed files on your hard disk drive. 
  23. If not, answer "N" , follow the instructions listed, and restart SAS50.
