  4. The parties shall apportion the necessary and jointly agreed

  15. Should either party be temporarily unable to contribute, the sums 
  16. may be advanced. However, after advances totaling $ 1,000 the 
  17. same will be considered to be gifts and any obligation to adjust 
  18. accounts shall cease unless a promissory note is executed 
  19. therefor.
