  5. The Mark/Space ZMODEM Demo requires an application that supports Communications Toolbox file transfer tools. Examples are CommunicateΓäó, MacTerminal┬«, and the various ΓÇ£worksΓÇ¥ applications. There are many others.

  8. Installation

  10. Installation is a fairly simple process, and can be performed by placing the tool in the proper folder. The exact location depends on which version of System Software you are using.

  13. For users of System 7

  15. 1. Drag the Mark/Space ZMODEM Demo to the System Folder. It will be placed in the Extensions folder.

  17. 2. The following dialog will appear, click the ΓÇ£OKΓÇ¥ button to proceed.

  25. 3. The tool is now available to all applications, there is no need to restart.

  27. Note:    To remove a tool, simply open the Extensions Folder and drag the tool out of the folder.

  32. 1. Confirm that your System Folder contains a Communications Folder (if not, install the Communications Toolbox before continuing. Installation of the Communications Toolbox is beyond the scope of this guide).

  34. 2. Drag the Mark/Space ZMODEM Demo into the Communications Folder in the System Folder.

  36. 3. The tool is now available to all applications, there is no need to restart.
