9. Searching CardsTo search for a card, click on 'S' above then enter the full name of the card you are wanting to search.
I have created an 'INDEX' card as card #1 so that you would have a complete index list of all cards.
You may also want to keep an index list as your first card so that you will always see this when you first begin the program. After you have become familiar with the program and have registered then you can of course delete any of these cards you may not need anymore.
Another way to search cards is to use the two arrows at the bottom of the card to go one forward or backwards... Adding Cards Adding more information to Data-Cards is simple. When you want to create a new card click on 'N' above, this will clear & save the current card displayed and you are now ready to enter in your new card.
Be sure to always give the card a topic in the 'tab window' & add it to your index... Registration Shareware is a truely fair concept in computer programs. You are able to 'try before you buy'. Shareware is not freeware... The registration of Data-Cards gives you more than the shareware version.
In the shareware version the 'delete' and 'paste' features have been disableled, when registered these features will be fully functional and the shareware introduction screen is removed... Data-Cards Why Data-Cards?
Data-Cards was created as a replacement to the MS Windows CardFile, why, CardFile while a nice cardfile database has limitations that disable it as complete.
Data-Cards allows 10k (10,000) characters/spaces per card with a 15 character topic name while CardFile allows only a total of 411 characters or spaces per card. This makes Data-Cards a true database that works for you without such limitations. Add your new card here and then give the card a topic name in the tab window above...
