  46. using or installing DATA-CARDS⌐.  The customer agrees that this 
  47. program is being used on the condition that Customer agrees to 
  48. this license.

  50. Compu-Data Services  agrees to grant, and the Customer
  51. agrees to accept, a non-exclusive, nontransferable license to use
  52. the program delivered with this agreement under the terms and
  53. conditions set forth below.  Compu-Data Services reserves
  54. the right to make changes or improvements to the DATA-CARDS⌐ computer
  55. program and any accompanying documentation at any time and without
  56. notice.

  84. DATA-CARDS⌐ is a "SHAREWARE PROGRAM" and is provided at no charge
  85. to the user for evaluation.  Feel free to share it with your
  86. friends, but please do not give it away altered or as part of
  87. another system.  The essence of "user-supported" software is to
  88. provide personal computer users with quality software without
  89. high prices, and yet to provide incentive for programmers to
  90. continue to develop new products.  If you find this program
  91. useful and find that you are using DATA-CARDS⌐ and continue to
  92. use DATA-CARDS⌐ after a reasonable trial period, you must make
  93. a registration payment of $20.00 to COMPU-DATA SERVICES [make

  96. The $20.00 registration fee will license one copy for use on
  97. any one computer at any one time.  You must treat this software
  98. just like a book.  An example is that this software may be used
  99. by any number of people and may be freely moved from one computer
  100. location to another, so long as there is no possibility of it
  101. being used at one location while it's being used at another.
  102. Just as a book cannot be read by two different persons at the
  103. same time.

  105. Commercial users of DATA-CARDS⌐ must register and pay for their
  106. copies of DATA-CARDS⌐ within 30 days of first use or their
  107. license is withdrawn.  Site-License arrangements may be made by
  108. contacting COMPU-DATA SERVICES

  110. Anyone distributing DATA-CARDS⌐ for any kind of remuneration must
  111. first contact COMPU-DATA SERVICES for authorization.
  112. This authorization will be automatically granted to distributors
  113. recognized by the (ASP) as adhering to its guidelines for
  114. shareware distributors, and such distributors may begin offering
  115. DATA-CARDS⌐ immediately (However COMPU-DATA SERVICES must
  116. still be advised so that the distributor can be kept up-to-date
  117. with the latest version of *PROGRAM*.).

  119. You are encouraged to pass a copy of DATA-CARDS⌐ along to your
  120. friends for evaluation.  Please encourage them to register their
  121. copy if they find that they can use it.  All registered users
  122. will receive a copy of the latest version of the DATA-CARDS⌐

  125. License Agreement: You may: a) use the program on a single
  126. machine: b) copy the program into any machine readable or
  127. printed form for backup or purposes in support of your use of
  128. the program on the single machine. Additional license agreements
  129. and payments are required if the software is used on more than
  130. one computer at a time.

  176. INSTALLATION PROCEDURES
  177.  
  178. The installation program is a Windows application and, therefore, 
  179. requires that you install the product while running Windows.
  180.  
  181. a. Insert the DATA-CARDS⌐ diskette in the disk drive. Invoke File/Run
  182.    from Windows Program Manager or File Manager.
  183.  
  184. b. Type A:\INSTALL, where A: is the letter of the drive that
  185.    contains the DATA-CARDS⌐ diskette.  
  186.  
  187. The Installation program will copy the program files in the
  188. location of your choice.  The option defaults to the DATACARD
  189. directory on the C: drive.
  190.  
  191. c. To accept the defaults click on Continue, otherwise change the 
  192.    settings.  Once the files are copied, a group called DATACARDS
  193.    is created with the utility icons in it.
  194.  
  195.    You are then displayed a screen with information regarding how
  196.    to register and license your software.  Please refer to the 
  197.    information below.

  199. d. Click on CONTINUE to continue.  You are now ready to use DATA-CARDS⌐.
