  4. This program is produced by a member of the Association of

  16. What is it?
  17.  
  18. WinTag, DOSTag and NGSTag simply display "tag lines" stored in the
  19. file TAGS.DAT. The three programs and the required files are as
  20. follows:

  22. DOSTag: Text-only version, displays tag line then exits. DOSTAG.EXE,
  23. TAGS.DAT
  24.  
  25. WinTag: Microsoft Windows version, see GUI versions below. WINTAG.EXE,
  26. TAGS.DAT, CTL3D.DLL
  27.  
  28. NGSTag: NGS GUI version (self contained). Needs VGA. See GUI versions
  29. below. NGSTAG.EXE, TAGS.DAT

  31. GUI Versions
  32.  
  33. The GUI versions, WinTag and NGSTag, display the tag line formatted
  34. onto two lines within a window. Operations are as follows:

  36. Left Mouse Click in Window: Close program Right Mouse Click in Window:
  37. View another tag line Press Escape: Close program
  38.  
  39. Under NGSTag, you may also select the Close box to close the window.
  40.  
  41. As default the WinTag window is displayed for 5 seconds, or until you
  42. click in the window or press escape. To increase or decrease this
  43. delay, simply include on the command line the number of seconds delay
  44. required... e.g. WINTAG 15 for a 15 second delay. Note that the window
  45. is invariably shown for longer than 5 (or 15) seconds, as the timer is
  46. not apparently updated whilst the hour glass cursor is displayed.

  48. The Tag Lines were all grabbed from various conferences on Nildram
  49. Software's Shareware Support BBS on (01442) 891109.

  51. Adding your own tag lines
  52.  
  53. Simply load the file TAGS.DAT into NOTEPAD and add lines to the end of
  54. the file. Make sure that there are no blank lines at the end.

  58. No registration needed - this is Bannerware! Please take a look at any
  59. one of the programs detailed in CATALOG.TXT.
