1. Full Name. Examples:
Curt Welch
K. C. Welch, III
Enter your name as you would like others to know you. Your
full name is included in the header of mail that you send.
2. System Name. Examples:
lightspeed crick
drjohn northridge
skydiver lilypond
This is the name that identifies your computer system.
Please think about it carefully since you cannot change it
once it has been registered. Try to be creative, think of
your System Name as your computer's nick name.
3. E-Mail Name. This name identifies you, as opposed to
others who may use your system. This is usually your last
name, first name, or a first initial. Examples:
welch cwelch
smith jones
tom curt
Your E-Mail Name together with your System Name and the
WinNET domain name (win.net) form your Internet E-Mail
address. You E-Mail address will be used
automatically by WinNET Mail. Example addresses:
welch@lightspeed.win.net
tom@crick.win.net
Note: This version of WinNET Mail is a single user
version. No matter what E-Mail Name you choose, you will
receive all mail coming to your system.
