In a word, no, there's no special problem with episode 15.
I've never heard of any fatal problems specifically related to running Win-Workgroups (although we have had reports of strangeness). And I personally have, just today, run IE 15 on this very machine (Pentium-60 running Windows 3.1 and Norton Desktop) and another machine running the released version of Windows 95. (You ARE running the released version, right? :-)
My feeling is that there's something peculiar about the system(s) you're running IE on - possibly a funky device driver or something . . . or maybe you just got two bad discs. Astronomically improbable, barring outside influences, but stranger things have happened. Please give our tech support a call at 802 767 1226, and they'll try really hard to help you out.
