Panels

The Panels Settings page contains controls used to define the general appearance of the file panels.  The following controls are defined:

Use Explorer style listview

The [ ] Use Explorer Style Listview checkbox controls whether the Windows Vista Explorer style of listview is used.  When the control is checked the listview is used.

In Details View the separator lined between the headers is extended down through the file panel.  Hot tracking is also performed where a "ghost" like selection line is moved through the list and follows the cursor.

The default value for this setting is "checked".

Use personal color for even row

The [ ] Use Personal Color For Even Row checkbox controls Just Managers even row display feature.  When this control is checked Just Manager will display the folders and files listed in the even numbered rows of the file panels using the colors specified in the Configuration/Fonts And Colors/Panels/Even Elements controls.  When the control is unchecked all lines are displayed using the fonts and colors specified in the Configuration/Fonts And Colors/Panels settings area.

The default value for this setting is "unchecked".

Show grid

The [ ] Show Grid checkbox controls whether grids are displayed in all file panels or not.  The grids are a series of horizontal and vertical lines.  Horizontal lines are displayed between every item displayed in the file panel.  Vertical lines are displayed following the detail fields.

Grids are only visible when a file panel is in Detail View Mode.

Synchronization: one detail view settings for all panels

The [ ] Synchronization: One Detail View Settings For All Panels checkbox controls how the Details View Mode is treated among file panels.

When this control is unchecked then each file panel's settings are maintained separately.

This setting only affects file panels when they are displaying data in details mode.
