Follow these steps to quickly alter the gain between two machines:
1. Click
on the triangle
located between two connected machines. |
2. Do not release the mouse
button |
3. Move the mouse up to
raise the amplification or down to lower it. |
|
Tips: |
Automating: Amplification
may also be automated by
scripting it in the destination machine's patterns.
For example if an 808 was linking to a reverb, the 808's amplification
could be scripted (AKA tracked) by creating a pattern for the
reverb, selecting the a-808 column and script as usual. |
More Volume: If the maximum
volume is not enough for your needs, consider adding one of
the gain machines (i.e. asedev Gain01) between a generator and
effect (or even two effects). |
Recording: The amplification
of a machine may be recorded
like any other parameter, but you must first create
a pattern and column for the destination machine, to allow the
movement to be scripted. |
Logarithmic Values:
The value
of the amplification bar in Buzz uses Logarithmic values as
opposed to linear. This means that greater changes in the sound
will occur toward the bottom of the bar. This is common to traditional
music gear and software, and will sound very familiar while used. |
