Day 007 - 06 Jul 94 - Page 23
1 MR. JUSTICE BELL: Would it be sensible to put them in date
order?
2
MR. RAMPTON: I was going to suggest to your Lordship the whole
3 thing should be rearranged. The first document
chronologically is 489A, the second one is 489C. I was
4 going to take out dividers 20A and 20B and put the whole
lot in date order.
5
MR. MORRIS: Can we have a couple of minutes to do this?
6
MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes, we will all do it together.
7
MR. RAMPTON: Can you remove from the back of that bundle all
8 these charts of yours and the two dividers 20A and 20B and
put the documents in chronological order, starting with
9 this one, 21st June 1989.
10 (Discussion on the re-arrangement of documents
in the bundles)
11
MR. RAMPTON: My Lord, first is 489A and B. That is one
12 document, then comes 489C.
13 MR. JUSTICE BELL: What is that?
14 MR. RAMPTON: That is 1990. The date on it should be
1st April.
15
MR. JUSTICE BELL: I do not have a date on it.
16
MR. RAMPTON: No. I seem to be the only one who has that.
17
MR. JUSTICE BELL: Anyway that is C.
18
MR. RAMPTON: Yes, the third document is the one dated
19 23rd September 1991 at the top.
20 MR. JUSTICE BELL: So that is D, is it?
21 MR. RAMPTON: 489D; the next document has got May 21st 1992 in
the bottom right hand corner, so it becomes 489E; the next
22 document, January 14th 1993, bottom right hand corner,
489F. Then finally, bottom right hand corner, February
23 3rd 1994, 489G.
24 MR. JUSTICE BELL: Thank you.
25 MR. RAMPTON: Have you marked them for us?
A. I have.
26
Q. Can I ask, first of all, this: This document is dated
27 21st June 1989, right?
A. Correct.
28
Q. Can I ask you, therefore, it is addressed by Bob Langert
29 to various people, who are they? Are those McDonald's
people?
30 A. Those are McDonald's people at that point in time. We
just wrote "department numbers" on there. Our office knew
