     2        A.  I went to work for a company called Oscar Mayer and
     3        Louis Rich.

     6        A.  They are the leading producers of pork and turkey in
     7        the US, of value added products, sausages, that kind of
     8        type of products.

    10   Q.   How long did you work for them?
    11        A.  About two years.

    13   Q.   What did you do after that?
    14        A.  I went to work for Texas A & M University as a food
    15        safety specialist at a professor level.

    17   Q.   But teaching?
    18        A.  Teaching, education and extension -- it was a triple
    19        appointment.

    21   Q.   Did you do any research while you were there?
    22        A.  Yes, I did.

    24   Q.   Into what sort of the things?
    25        A.  In the area of food safety.

    27   Q.   You are now, I think, a manager of meat products in the
    28        International Quality Assurance and Purchasing Department
    29        of McDonald's Corporation?
    30        A.  When?

    33        A.  Yes, I am.

    35   Q.   When did you join McDonald's?
    36        A.  In 1991.

    38   Q.   Why did you join McDonald's?
    39        A.  Because I felt that was the best company and because we
    40        share some of the values, and I wanted to have an
    41        international exposure as well as to increase my overall
    42        background.

    44   Q.   It seems from what you have told us you have qualifications
    45        both in the field of, as it were, animal production, can
    46        I call it that?
    47        A.  Yes, that is correct.

    50        A.  That is correct.
