       to industrial tribunals.

MR. RAMPTON: That is right, my Lord.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: What is the position there?

MR. RAMPTON: The position there is that the only one of the
Defendants' industrial tribunal witnesses that we have so
far, at least, been told is coming to court is Logan.
Your Lordship will understand that Jane Jarvis and Janette
Eady were originally to be called to deal with what was in
       the industrial tribunal.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes. I do not need any explanation, because
I could see you might take the view that it is what
Mr. Logan alleges after his reinstatement, which is of more
potential significance in the case than events leading to
his temporary departure in the middle of his service in
1991 or 1992. But, in any event, I can cross all those
       out?

MR. RAMPTON: My Lord, yes, at any rate, so far as Jarvis and
Eady are concerned, in the form in which your Lordship
finds them in the bundle at the moment; that evidence has
       really become irrelevant.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: But does that mean that you might be
contemplating calling them for some other reason?

MR. RAMPTON: My Lord, I have not yet had the chance to analyse
what are the consequences of the recent discussion in the
(inaudible) indication your Lordship gave -- no, it is an
order now -- in relation to Bath. It may very well be, as
I think your Lordship indicated at the time, that either
side will want to call additional evidence.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: What I will do, I will cross out witnesses
       Nos. 20 and 21, and 24 to 30.

  MR. RAMPTON: Yes.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I have put Miss Jarvis and Miss Eady in
brackets and just make my own personal note "not to be
       called in this form".

  MR. RAMPTON: That is right.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Then in section F, 35 Glenn Prosser, who
related to Mr. Townsend at Swindon.

MR. RAMPTON: That is right, he is not needed.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: So I cross him out. Duncan Pawson at
       Hammersmith?

MR. RAMPTON: That is also right, my Lord, yes.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I will cross him out.

MR. RAMPTON: Your Lordship's section F should, I hope, go: 39C
