       A. But they did not all work in the same place, but they
worked in different restaurants around Oslo.

  Q. Right. So were each of those closers attached to a
       restaurant ---
       A. Yes.

  Q. -- or did they float, or what?
       A. They were attached to a restaurant, but they were also
attached to the company owning the restaurant, which was
       this Zero-Five II Company.

  Q. Which you were working for?
       A. Yes.

  Q. Right. So you were aware of the situation?
       A. Well, I became aware of the situation while there were
picket lines outside the restaurant giving out leaflets
       telling -----

MR. RAMPTON: Mr. Morris needs to be a little bit careful.
I think we are about to have quite a considerable amount of
       hearsay.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes. You must steer away from hearsay.

MR. RAMPTON: We have already had talking to other union
representatives -- not Mr. Jenssen's fault at all -- and a
loose reference to being involved. I think Mr. Morris has
to be really very careful to confine this witness to his
       actual direct means of knowledge.

MR. MORRIS: As a union representative, you are entitled to
report back what the concerns of your members are.

  MR. JUSTICE BELL: No.

MR. MORRIS: That is part of your job.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Not so far as evidence is concerned.

MR. MORRIS: It is still evidence of his understanding of the
company, you know, his evidence as it is, of his perception
of the company. But, as far as the documents are
concerned, what we will do is, if we want to rely on any of
the documents, we will get them translated following this
       hearing.

(To the witness): Can you just look through those documents
and pick out the crucial ones which summarise what happened
as to -- it is just the ones that were attached to your
       statement originally.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I will put them all behind.

MR. MORRIS: I have numbered them 1 to 8 in my section.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: You had better tell me what your numbers are,
and then everyone can put them in.
