That is from the East Finchley Head Office. Is that the
reference that they gave you afterwards?
A. Yes, it is, yes.

Q. Did McDonald's ever apologise to you for the way they
treated you?
A. No, they did not, no.

Q. Did they offer you your job back?
A. No.

Q. Sorry, I have got to cross that off -- this is just about
the double shifts and the hours that you worked. You said
that you were taken on on a full-time basis?
A. Yes.

Q. What time of day did you normally start, only
approximately?
A. Afternoon, all the afternoon rush hours we used to do.

Q. Right.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: At the top of page 3 of your statement you
said: "I regularly worked double shifts". What do you
mean by that?
A. Double shift - usually over the amount of hours that I

as well.

Q. Yes, but give me an example of the time of day you worked
from until?
A. Say I was in 11.00 until 2.00, just as an example, then
I would do 2.00 until 6.00 or something like that.
I cannot remember exactly how the shifts worked now. It is
a long time ago.

MS. STEEL: That was an example of the theory of double shifts?
A. Yes.

Q. Was that your usual practice to work from 11.00 to 2.00?

Q. You have referred to working after 10.00 p.m.?
A. Yes.

Q. Were any of the double shifts ones that took you over the
10 p.m. or was that something different?
A. No, that was .....

Q. Do you know what time ----

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Just pause a moment. When you worked a
double shift which took you after 10.00 p.m. what time
would you start? What would the shifts be?
A. I cannot really remember now. I suppose I worked up
until 9.00, and then I suppose I went on from there. If
I clocked off -- I cannot really remember the exact hours.

Q. Do not trouble yourself. It is 10 years ago. If you
