  Q. If you go to paragraph 60, it says: "It is true that Cam
talked to us about the benefits of the terms and conditions
he was offering in the restaurants." What kind of things
       was he offering?
       A. It is just the benefits that we have now; like, it is
not like he was offering more or less; it is just the
benefits that we have with McDonald's, like our gold card
and the free uniforms, the paid breaks, vacation pay. He
       just told us about that.

  Q. You said in your last sentence, I think it was -- I cannot
remember if it was ruled out or not, but anyway -- "I am
not aware of any crew member in the store who felt that
management behaved in a hostile manner because they had
       signed union cards."

You were aware that there were a number of allegations,
were you not, at the Labour Board hearing, made by the
union, because staff had complained about union activity
       and union activists?
       A. I am sorry. Can you just like rephrase that?
       What -----

  Q. Are you aware that there were a number of allegations put
by the union's side at the Labour Board hearings against
the management, how the management was harassing and
       undermining the union drive?
       A. I do not -- I am not sure what you mean, but I do not
think so. I do not know of anything. Like, I know there
was something about tenure and you know, but I do not know
if they made an allegation or whatnot. I do not know.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: How much did you attend the hearings, if at
all, apart from when you were giving evidence?
       A. We were not allowed to. We were not allowed to attend
the meetings if we were not giving evidence, and we were
not allowed to talk to anyone even after we had finished
giving evidence. We were not allowed to talk to anyone
before or after, except for the lawyers, until the whole
thing was over, so we did not talk to our friends; and
I did not attend any of the meetings other than the three
or four that I went to.

MR. MORRIS: Are you aware that some employees were talking
about they had been threatened with the loss of their jobs
or reduction in their pay; that the union supporters' hours
of work were being reduced; that some had been required or
pressured to attend workplace meetings where management
expressed its opposition to unionisation; employees were
pressured to participate in discussions where management or
those close to management warned employees about the
penalties they would suffer if the union comes in; and
making false and misleading statements about the union --
those kind of things? Are you aware that they were
allegations being made by union supporters?
       A. I was not aware of that, and I do not think any of that
       happened. But, I mean -----
