So I am expecting to have something on Friday.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: What was the loose end about E.coli?

MR. MORRIS: It was the Preston report commenting on that as an
expert, his opinion about .....

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I am afraid I had forgotten that. That was
something he was going to do a report on, was it?
I thought it was just on residues that he was going to ----

MS. STEEL: When we started to ask him questions about the
Preston incident, he was told that if he wanted to give
evidence about that he had to do a statement about it
before he could give evidence about it.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: So you will serve a report in relation to the
E.coli matter by Friday, will you?

MR. MORRIS: Yes. I am hoping that he is going to be able to
draft at least a skeleton by Friday on the other matter on
the pesticides residues. I have not had a chance to get
back to him yet.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: What was the last direction or indication
I gave with regard to Dr. North? I think you explained the
problem you were having and I have not checked back, but
I have a faint recollection (and it is a faint
recollection) that I said if I gave some kind of direction
as to time that might help you get something out of
Dr. North. Can you remember what I did say? Did I give a
date?

MR. MORRIS: I cannot remember. I think the employment evidence
was taking longer than had initially been scheduled for.
It had got lost as an urgent matter.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: That my be but what I would like you to do is
to remind me on Friday, or Mr. Rampton can remind on
Friday.

MR. RAMPTON: Yes, I am afraid I cannot remember at the moment.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Perhaps someone could refer me on Friday to
what I last said about timing.

MR. RAMPTON: Yes, my Lord, we will look it up.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Thank you.

MR. RAMPTON: We will certainly be able to find it.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Let us leave that for the moment, then. So
far as further nutrition evidence, including any further
documentation so far as Mr. Fairgrieve, is concerned, we
start from this, do we not, that, come what may, Professor
Crawford has to come back for further cross-examination?

MR. RAMPTON: I am not sure that is right, my Lord. I do not
