    18        currently working for the BBC World Service.  I have spent
    19        long periods in Brazil (1971-79, 1985-86 and 1992-93),
    20        working for The Financial Times, The Economist, The Times,

    23        A.  I am just back from Brazil, actually.  I spent a month
    24        and came back a fortnight ago.  I frequently visit Brazil
    25        still as part of my work for the BBC World Service.

    28        times when you have had large, substantial periods in
    29        Brazil?
    30        A.  Yes, this time, for example, I revisited the Amazon
    31        which I frequently do in my trips back to Brazil.
