Day 272 - 02 Jul 96 - Page 17

Pocklington's seem a pretty fair record insofar as you can
now recall of what went on?
       A. He seems to be more, he is definitely fairer than
Allan Claire's notes are, yes. It does not mean that I
necessarily agree with everything he has put.

  Q. No, I am not asking you that, but generally speaking?
       A. Generally speaking, yes. I would say at times Allan
       Claire's are, like, wildly inaccurate.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Just pause a minute. Yes?

MS. STEEL: Okay. Mr. Morris is going to come back to the
meetings he was at after I have finished. I think the next
one is the notes of 16th June 1990, Mr. Bishop's notes, and
I think it is page 149. This is an anti-poll tax march
with a minifayre in Finsbury Park and then a gig or some
kind of event at the George Rowby afterwards?
       A. Yes.

  Q. And there was a stall there.
       A. Yes.

  Q. Do you know who decided to do the stall and how it came
about, whether there has been a decision at a meeting or
       anything like that?
       A. Well, I have got a feeling that the idea to do the
stall was probably mine and I would probably have just
mentioned it at a meeting that I was going to do a stall
there, a London Greenpeace stall, and, like things would
usually happen, people would have said right, you know, go
ahead, if you want to do one, do one. I mean, the group
was certainly an anti-poll tax group. So, you know, there
would have been no problem about that.

  Q. Okay.
       A. There was, I mean there was no votes or anything ever
taken at meetings. So this is the important thing, it is
not like I was not dead against it or told to do it or
votes. Nothing like that happened. It was not actually
       that group.

  Q. Just moving on to the organisation of the 1990 fayre or
discussion about it or preparations, whatever, I think Mr.
Bishop has said that at one meeting in August a list had
       been prepared by --
       A. Do you know which place this is?

  Q. I suppose it would better if I find what page it is on
actually. The notes of 2nd August 1990. I have not
actually got a page number on this one. The second page of
       the notes.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: The report is 166.
       A. Yes, I think I have found it.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Just pause a moment.

MS. STEEL: Does the report go before Mr. Bishop's personal
       notes?
