Day 277 - 10 Jul 96 - Page 17

  Q. And, well, yes -- would it be, can you remember if it would
be unusual for someone who had previously been involved in
the group and no longer involved to drop in on occasion to
report something particular that they were involved with so
that the group would be able to discuss or get involved in
       it?
       A. I don't know why people came that had not been for a
while, but it would not be at all unusual for anybody at a
meeting who had not been there for a while, or whatever, to
report back on what they had been doing. Because that was
what the reports section was about and, I mean, obviously,
you know, people want to drop in just to keep in touch.

  Q. It is said on page 3 of that report -- I am not sure what
page number we are on, I am actually working from the
       King's Investigation Bureau?
       A. 164, I think you are working from the other one.

  Q. Yes, I am working from the other one because -- I don't
       know why.
       A. Is that 168?

  Q. Is that 168?
       A. I don't know.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: What part of the report?

MR. MORRIS: I am actually working from the King's Investigation
Bureau, page 3, rather than the--

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Well, that is page 168.

MR. MORRIS: 168 yes, it says there, No. 5, about London
Greenpeace issuing a press statement about anti-McDonald's
pickets in October 1990. This was the last item on that
agenda on that report. Do you remember if I was still
there by the time that was discussed or, you know, do you
just not have any recollection at all?
       A. I don't know.

  Q. Sorry, you will have to speak up?
       A. I do not know.

  Q. You don't know if I was there?
       A. No, I don't know.

  Q. Do you know whether that was discussed by everybody, or
whether that was something that somebody may have said to
       the investigator?
       A. I don't know.

  Q. Or what?
       A. I don't know. You know, I don't remember the specific
discussion but when people did press releases it was
generally, if you were involved in a specific campaign you
would go off and write a press release and just get on with
what you felt was important. You being one -- sorry.

  Q. I don't understand that?
