Day 277 - 10 Jul 96 - Page 18
A. I just meant, because some of the time I am saying
'you'--

Q. 'You', a person?
A. And I do not mean 'you', Mr. Morris.

Q. Right, right. So we have no idea apart from the testimony
we have heard up to now whether there was any discussion at
all?
A. Well, I don't remember any, so--

Q. Or whether?
A. So I can't really say.

Q. Even if there had have been discussion, whether I took part
in it or heard it or was in fact even present, you have got
no idea?
A. I don't know.

Q. If someone -- say, for example, you said that you were
against the fayre being organised for 1990, after the 1989
fayre you did not want a fayre at all, every time the fayre
was discussed during 1989 and '90, the next fayre?
A. Yes.

Q. Would you be expected to continue the repeat your position
every time it was discussed, or?
A. No, I mean, you know, if there was another big
discussion on it you might say something about it, if it
was just generally people had decided to go ahead with it
and were talking about what arrangements they were making
or something, I would just sit it out and not say anything
and just leave it up to them. You know, that was what they
wanted to do, they would get on with it.

Q. So if somebody was basically opposed to something there
would not be much point in keep saying it every time, if
people wanted to get on with it they would just get on with
it anyway?
A. Yes.

Q. Right.
A. That was the whole point of the -- well, that was what
I liked about the group, the fact that, you know, if you
did not want to get involved in something you did not have
to, you could just get involved with what you wanted to get
involved with and you just left other people to get
involved with what they were interested in.

Q. I think I have virtually finished. Can I just have some
time to check?

MR. JUSTICE BELL: We will have the five minute break then.

(Short adjournment)

MS. STEEL: Before Mr. Morris carries on can I just say there is
something I forget to say when I was giving evidence in
chief?
