Saving Projects

You are allowed to save the current project under its name, other name, or as a project template.

To save the current project under its name:

* Do one of the following:

-- Select Save from the File menu,

-- Click on the Standard Toolbar.

If the active project was changed since the last save, it will be saved.

To save the current project under other name:

1. Select Save As from the File menu. The application displays the extended Save As dialog.

2. Select MediaFACE 4.0 (*.mfp) from the Save as type combo box. Specify a file name for saving and click the Save button. The project is saved under the specified name.

To save the current project as a template:

1. Select Save As from the File menu. The system displays the extended Save As dialog.

2. Select MediaFACE 4.0 Template (*.mft) from the Save as type combo box. Enter a new theme or select one of the available themes from the Theme combo box. Open the folder with the installed MediaFACE 4.0 project templates (...\<MediaFACE 4.0 install folder>\Settings\Templates\Projects). Specify a file name for saving and click the Save button. The project is saved under the specified name as a template.

Note: Exit and restart MediaFACE 4.0 to use the newly created project template. The created project template will appear in The New Project wizard (step 1). For details refer to the section titled Creating Projects.
