Description of Embedded Agents:

      The embedded software in these electronic boards provides the function of an agent dedicated to the UPSs MGE UPS SYSTEMS and these products can be used if UM-Agent is not available on your system.

      These embedded agents may be either embedded agents internal to the UPS or embedded agents external to the UPS.

      The embedded agents internal to the UPS:
       A certain number of UPSs can be equipped with an SNMP board also called embedded agent internal to the UPS.

      The external embedded agent

      The external embedded agent is an adapter box used to connect UPSs to the TCP/IP-SNMP network. This box is equipped with serial communication ports for connection to the UPSs and an Ethernet port for connection to the computer network.
