Arcade

"Arcade Pinballs" as in those big black boxes with controllers and flickering screens. I don't know so much about arcade pinballs but I thought it was an area of the pinball history that placed well here among the history pages.

Pinball Action Tehkan (1985)
There is an arcade game emulator, M.A.M.E, the latest release of the emulator (version 0.30) emulates the old arcade pinball Pinball Action. Pinball Action was made 1985 by Tehkan. The emulated version really sort of has that arcade feel, clumsy graphics and all, sort of fulfills your expectations. Supposedly there was also a Super Pinball Action.

Sega also made an arcade pinball by the name Time Scanner. It is as Pinball Action some kind of multi-table where you travel from table to table. Kind a fun... Also available for the System 16 emulator if you wish to try it on your computer.

Super Flipper Chicago Coin
There was also a video pinball called Super Flipper from Chicago Coin. Below is a picture taken of the actual arcade console.
