: Could it be something as simple as changing the BIOS setting to boot from CD as first option. I have installed '98 on many occasions but I use an ERD from another '98 install to get me going haven't tried to boot the '98 CD and then install. Hope I ahve helped in some way. : Rob nope I have done that and it does not work thanx for the attempt though:)
