: >>What happened to Amtex?"Amtex is out of business. When preparing my pinball guide to Royal Flush, I tried to contact anyone who was formerly from Amtex. This included calling the Chamber of Commerce as well as looking up all the names from the manual using telephone information (the operator was very kind and patient). I also tried some e:mail addresses I had from way back when I wrote to Amtex when they were still in business. I even tracked down the current owners of Gottlieb (who own the rights to Royal Flush) who stated that they were also left in the lurch as a result of Amtex's demise. Too bad. I wonder what happened to the other pinball reproductions they claimed were in the works? : I, too tried to find out. I did find out that they are not on the net, their phone has been disconnected, and mail to them is returned. : It might be possible to find out from the Beeton, Ontario (Canadian) Chamber of Commerce whether or not they went out of business, but it sure looks like it. : Rats.
