Mindpath Pinball Original Publishing Date (y/m/d): 1997-04-23 This is actually no new thing, the thing has been around for a while but I thought I'd write a little about it anyway since it is such a strange thing... The "Other 90% Technologies.Inc" has developed a thing that (they say) is supposed to give you the possibility to interact with the computer using your mind. You are for example supposed to be able to move around things on the screen using your thoughts instead of the mouse or keyboard. How does it work? Beats me, haven't tried it, but it is something you strap on your fingers that is supposed to pick up brain waves or something (I guess :). Since I haven't tried I can't say it works, so I would think it is more your brain steering your hand that moves the things on the screen, but what do I know, check their website if you want to know the truth! ;) Anyway they have made a pinball called the "Pinball Mind" (revolutionary names here) in which you are as the site says: Yes, using the MindDrive, you activate the flippers with your mind - but you also use your thoughts to affect the movement of the ball itself. Think your way towards bonus points - and away from danger spots! Just strap on the MindDrive finger sensor and launch yourself into two of the most popular and time honored genres of all time - Pinball and Pachinko. Now that sounds strange and more like a commercial, I don't know how near the truth it is. Seeing the screenshots I wonder how serious and good this pinball is...
