October 1997 Editorial
Original Publishing Date (y/m/d): 1997-10-01

Oh, October already. Funny how time goes by even when you are having it boring, school... well seriously it is not that bad (?). Ordered my copy of Riven (the sequel to MYST, yes! I do play some, a few, a couple of things beside pinballs) last week, looking forward to its arrival in November. My birthday is November by the way, hope some pinball is released in time for it (so I can tell the others in the family what presents to buy :)).

So will any pinballs be released in time for my birthday, well I have no Idea. The two pinballs most awaited (that I look forward to most), Balls of Steel and Addiction Pinball, both have uncertain release dates that move around all the time. But I'm rather sure they should be getting out this year! (I wont guess closer). If you missed it, a update on the progess report for Balls of Steel occurd on the pinball wizards page last month.

What about sierras pinball then, and 2UP-Tilt? Well my efforts to get a interview with some programmer of 3DUP3:TLC seems to have been for nothing. If anyone can help me get one trough to them, please contact me asap!! :) 2UP-Tilt is still a mystery to me.

Then we have 21st Centuries upcomming pinball Electronic Pinball. Still no pictures on their site or so and no release date (well fourth Quarter -97). It can become rather good (don't think it will rival upcomming pinballs such as Addiction or so, but otherwise, who knows), hope to see a demo soon.

I think I'll stop guessing dates in the future, timeshock! has yet not been released in the US. But what do you know, it is said to get out this month, and along with it the Mac version!

Finally the most important things that happened last month: A new picture of one full table in Addiction Pinball was added to the news page, the Duke Nukem interview finally happened and well I ordered Riven (ops, guess I mentioned that above).

Goodnight America... wherever you are.
