Oberbek also received a cholarschip for participation in the master interpretation course of Spanish music, led by Andres Segovia, a famous Spanish master, in Santiago de Compostella, where he received the Jose Miguel Morales prize. He studied in Spain under the direction of proffessors: Jose Tomas, Jose Luis, Rodrigo and Jose Luis Gonzales.

He established the class of Renaissance and Baroque lute in Poland in the Krakow High School of Music.
