After landing at the
private Airstrip the adventure really begins.
This area of Arnhem Land is a treasure house of
rock art, flora and fauna, many of its species
are found nowhere else on earth. |
Mount
Borradaile and the surrounding sandstone cliffs
are honeycombed with caves and shelters that were
occupied for over 50,000 years. Thousands of rock
paintings chronicle the spiritual life of
Aboriginal culture. |
