Last episode, Ash was challenged by a Samurai who had a
grudge against Pallet Town trainers, as he was beaten by 3 of
them (Gary, and two other folks). During the battle, Beedrills
came about, and sortov...bugnapped Ash's Metapod...but don't
worry! He gets it back later, after an encounter with Team
Rocket, and Metapod evolves into Butterfree, putting to sleep
all the Beedrills and Team Rocket! (YA BUTTERFREE!!!) After
Samurai declared Ash a worthy opponent, Ash and Misty sets off
for PEWTER CITY!
"To protect the world from devastation! To unite all
peoples within our nation! To denounce the evils of truth and
love! To extend our reach to the stars above!"
"Jessie!"
"James!"
"I don't see how you two could stand around while I'm doing
all of the work!" Meowth interrupted the two, coming out of a
hole he was digging with a gringe face.
"We haven't got much time!" Jessie declared. "If Ash and
Pikachu are headed for Pewter City, they'll have to pass
this way!"
James continued "And they'll fall right into our trap!"
The two continued digging, then did some clever trap-hiding
with some branches, leaves, and dirt. "AAHH!!!" James screamed
(Yes, I realise it's a guy screaming, but Team Rocket is rather
eccentric...) "I can't even tell where the trap is!" he finished.
After some quick exploration from Team Rocket, they
eventually...fall into their own trap...Poor guys...
"Yeah! Pewter City!" Ash announced as he looked down at the
surbuban view on top of a rock. Ash, Pikachu and Misty are
all tired after Viridian Forest, and while Ash sat down on the
stone, he was interrupted.
"Pewter City is the color of stone," an old man stated with a
coarse voice. "The town has always been famous for stone."
Ash peeped down from his sitting-stone, seeing the old man, who
had a large beard, and was wearing a red cap. "I'm Flint, and
you're sitting on my merchandise, young man."
Ash was only aware that he was sitting on a rock, but after
scanning over the other rocks near where he was, he noticed
price tags on them. "You mean you SELL rocks?!" Ash asked
doubtfully.
"They're Pewter City souvenirs," replied Flint. "Wanna buy
some?"
"No thanks!" Ash promptly returned, stating that he was
traving to become a PokΘMon Master (don'tcha think he's getting
too big-headed about that PokΘMon Master thing?).
