Similar to the Greater Yellowlegs, but with green legs and a slightly more upturned bill. In flight, the white of the rump extends into a point on the lower back, instead of the limited white rump patch of the two yellowlegs species. Length: 30-35 cm.; weight: 125-290 g. Breeds in marshy forests in Scandinavia and much of Russia. Winters in Africa, southern Eurasia and Australia. Accidental in wetlands in Puerto Rico.
