Calendar Widgets, a set of Sheridan Reusable Components,™

is perfect for visually displaying time- and date-related information. Calendar Widgets consists of four controls: MonthView, YearView, DayView and DateCombo. They are supplied as version 3 Visual Basic® Custom Controls (.VBX) and 16- and 32-bit ActiveX™ Controls. Calendar Widgets is ideal for Personal Information Managers (PIMS), data entry, accounting, billing, project management, or any other application requiring entry of time and dates. MonthView, YearView and the DateCombo are data-aware!

MonthView:

• Displays one, two or three months at a time.
• Adjustable Date Range: January 1, 100 to December 31, 9999.
• Can alter the visual display of months, days of week or days. Color code days like Saturdays and Sundays.
  Translate Day of Week and Month headings into any language (defaults to system settings). Add pictures to any month.
• Implements Sheridan’s new StyleSet™ feature. Create StyleSets with specific Backcolor, Forecolor, Picture, Font, and Caption properties and apply to multiple objects like days and days of week to easily identify holidays and special events.

YearView:

• A twelve month calendar with the features of MonthView.
• Specify beginning month, making it ideal for displaying fiscal calendars.

DayView:

• Time-ordered tasks, includes methods for easily adding, changing and removing tasks.
• Optional TimeSelectionBar gives color-coded thumbnail view of entire day’s tasks. See scheduled tasks even when the time is not in view.
• Specify Duration fill pattern and color.
• Add pictures to tasks.
• Adjustable beginning and ending time of day.
• Display time in increments of 5, 10, 15, 30 or 60 minutes.

DateCombo:

• DropDown Calendar with all the features of MonthView.
• Masked input.
• Formatted Output (when control does not have focus).
• Spin Buttons or +/- keys change the date.
• Adjustable height and width for the edit portion.
• Adjustable height and width for the dropdown.

Ideal for apps such as PIMs, accounting, data entry and project or contact management.
