Designer Widgets 2.0, a set of Sheridan Reusable Components,™

is perfect for creating applications with the look and feel of today’s most popular commercial applications. Designer Widgets consists of four controls: IndexTabs, Dockable Toolbars, FormFX and Notebook. They are supplied as version 3 Visual Basic® Custom Controls (.VBX) and 16- and 32-bit ActiveX™ Controls. The ideal control set for designing high-impact apps!

Dockable Toolbars:

Toolbars can be dragged from the docking area at runtime to create a floating toolbar palette.
Toolbars can be docked top, bottom, left or right.
Multiple toolbars will be automatically positioned or stacked to fit docking area.
Define buttons in groups to keep them together when palette is docked or resized.
Assign a ToolTip to each button.
Toolbars can contain other controls.
Includes a Toolbar Designer and Toolset Bitmap Editor.

FormFX

Customize the look and behavior of a form.
All settings appear at design time as they do at run time.
Place custom buttons in the caption area.
Change the height of the caption on a form.
Add bitmap, icon or metafile to caption area.
Add 3-D look to caption, border and client areas.
Custom fonts, sizes.
Customize control box, minimize and maximize buttons.
Supports Windows® 95 caption style.

Notebook:

Display controls using a notebook metaphor. Each tab and page act like a separate container displaying its controls when the user selects the tab or page.
Each tab can optionally have multiple pages.
The Notebook Wizard allows you to easily create customized Notebook controls.
Landscape or portrait orientation.
Customize the size and shape of tabs, rings, etc.
Animate page turning and add pictures to tabs.
Can be bound to any valid data source.

IndexTab:

Each tab can have optional multiple pages.
Each tab is virtually a separate container—visually place controls on a tab at design time.
Tab pages can have “earmarks” to easily flip pages.
Enforce a single row of tabs and allow the user to navigate through the tabs with a scrollbar.
Can specify text for each tab at design or run time.
Can be bound to any valid data source.
