Error Message | Reason & Solution |
Can't establish connection. | The SurfinConsole cannot connect with the SurfinCheck Server. The cause for this might be an inconsistency between the IP address and port defined for the SurfinCheck Server and SurfinConsole. Check the .cfg file of both the console and the server (config directory) to see that the MCS_PORT parameter defines the same port number. (By default, the port number is 1024). |
Critical error. Database is corrupted. Please fix the problem and restart SurfinConsole. | A possible cause for this message might be that the ODBC System DNS was modified to point to a different database. Modify the ODBC Database Source Name to point to the correct path of the FinjanDatabase.
Another possible reason might be a corrupted SurfinConsole.cfg file. Check the file to see that: Otherwise, use ODBC Manager to correct the problem. See chapter 8, "Maintenance and Backup." |
