Activating and Deactivating Servers in the Queue

When prioritizing jobs and dividing up the network render load, individual servers might need to be pulled off one job and placed on another.

Reference

When you unassign a server from the current rendering job, the server’s icon changes to an empty box. If the server is assigned to another incomplete active or pending job, it is used by that job. If the server has no further job assignments, it stops rendering.

Any machine that becomes available for network rendering can be brought back for use in the current job. However, the machine must have been "broadcasting" as a server (using Desktop mode or as an installed service) when the job was submitted. A machine does not have to be assigned to the particular job, only present as a rendering server on the network at the time the job was submitted to the queue.
