L-Ext

Creates an extruded L-shaped object.

L-Ext Parameters

Side/Front Length: Set this to specify the length of the side.

Side/Front Width: Set this to specify the width of the side.

Height: Set this to specify the height of the of the object.

Side/Front Segs: Set this to specify the number of segments for a specific side of the object..

Note: The object’s dimensions (Back, Side, Front) are labeled as though it were created in the Top or Perspective viewports, and seen from the front of world space.

Generate Mapping Coordinates: Sets up the required coordinates for applying mapped materials to the capsule. Default=clear.

How To

To create a L-Ext, do this:

  1. Drag the mouse to define the overall dimension of the base. Regardless of which creation method you use (Corners or Center), you can press CTRL to constrain the base to a square.
  2. Release the mouse and move it to define the height of the L-Ext.
  3. Click, and then move the mouse vertically to define the thickness, or width of the walls of the L-Ext.
